Marco Manry, back from his journey in a cinese virtual world, exhibits his travel notebook pages. The exhibition of moleskines by Marco Manray, one of SL best known reporters, is based on Bolter's and Grusin's concept of "re-mediation" - typical of the new digital media. For sure re-mediation is the most vivid description of the contemporary visions of the "traveller", who knows no limit of space and shifts from one geography to the other, recording the precarious existence of borders. What comes up is the idea of journey itself, of the artist's state of mind and of exploration as opening oneself to encounters. Hence the importance of showing in SL images shot in other synthetic worlds, specifically in a Chinese virtual world. The description is completed by the "hyper-mediation" of a moleskine notebook.
